Meanwhile Mahesh Babu took it to twitter to announce his support to the ongoing issue in Tamil Nadu i.e. Jallikattu protest. The Srimanthudu star appreciated the youth for coming together for a social cause and showing protest.
It can also be noted that Mahesh was born and brought up in Chennai. On several occasions he had recalled his bonding with Tamil Nadu. In fact, Mahesh could also able to speak in Tamil. Probably, his this connection to Chennai has made him react. Stating that he was quite impressed with the students of Tamil Nadu who are fighting for their roots and culture, Mahesh wished that their voices should be heard.
Taking to his micro-blogging page, Mahesh posted, Jallikattu is the spirit of Tamil Nadu bold and fearless. Proud to see such a statement of unity among Tamilians, for something that they truly believe in. Especially admire the way the students of Tamil Nadu have been standing up for the cause, relentlessly fighting for their roots and culture. Hope their voices are heard.
