Is Srimanthudu copied from other writer?
It is alleged that Srimanthudu movie that starred Mahesh babu is copied from one of his novel according to writer Sarath Chandra. He writes daily articles for a famous magazine. He claimed that director Koratala Shiva copied and modified his story, which published in magazine in 2012.
Srimanthudu became an industry hit and collected more than 140 crores. It received good responses from all over the state and some people inspired to adapt villages as shown in the film.
In a press conference, he explained that, he planned to make a movie according to this story with title “Chachchentha Prema” starring Nara Rohith and Samudra as director under Jayalaxmi films banner. It is known that Sarath Chandra formally lodged a complaint against Koratala Shiva at Writers Association for copying his story.
Now, its time for Koratala Shiva to come out and give some expiation towards the chandra allegations.I
