Woman finds 12-Foot Python in Supermarket Fridge

It’s not easy running a supermarket store. Shoppers can never find what’s kept in which alley and the price tags are never in their place. But Martie Esnouf, the manager at a Spar store in Cape Town was called to the dairy section for a very unusual problem. Snake-Catchers nabbed the African Rock Python and placed it in a sack. It was later released in a national park. Actually, This Python is non-venomous but it’s capable of killing a creature and swallowing it. The snake catcher told staff that the cold blooded snake’s organs had shut down in the chilled fridge and that it was in a state of near hibernation and safe. Luckily, It was asleep in the cooling section of the Supermarket.

He pulled out all the yoghurts and dairy items from the freezer until he could see the python’s full length and a colleague brought a sack to put it in. A terrified worker at the Spar shop in Komatipoort, eastern South Africa, can be seen standing behind the snake catcher with a mop for protection. Manageress Martie Esnouf said: We have a lot of bush behind the shops and there are lots of snakes in there. We were telling people not to panic and reassuring them that it was safe.
