Reliance Jio services to go paid starting April 1
Reliance Jio users, the days of free data are getting over. The company’s services will go paid starting April 1, 2017. This was announced by the company’s chairman Mukesh Ambani at an event in Mumbai today. Ambani announced a new membership plan called Jio Prime. The membership fees for Jio Prime is Rs 99 per year. Jio Prime Members can continue to enjoy the benefits of the company’s Happy New Year plan at an introductory price of Rs 303 per month. Prime users will continue to enjoy these unlimited benefits until March 31, 2018.

- Reliance Jio has crossed the 100 million customer mark in just 170 days.
- India is now the no.1 in world for Mobile internet usage.
- Jio carries 5.5 crore hours of video daily on its network.
- Starting 1 April, on all voice plans there will be no charges for voice calls, roaming or even blackout days.
- We are making our network stronger and faster with every passing day.
- More than 200 crore minutes of voice and video calls are being made every day on Jio.
- Data is the oxygen of digital life.
- Seven customers added every single second since launch.
- There has been comprehensive process of monitoring of all telecom plans by competitors. We will not just match the competitor plan but give 20% more value to each of the competitor plan.
- Jio Prime members get Jio Unlimited benefits they got during Jio New year offer – another 12 months of free voice and data.
- Jio Prime Members can get this at an introductory price of only Rs 303/month, effectively just Rs 10/day.
- Jio Prime Members can continue enjoying the unlimited benefits of JIO NEW YEAR OFFER until 31st.
