The Film Censorship Board of Malaysia (LPF) has revised its previous 18 rating for Rajinikanth-starrer, Kabali. As of yesterday, the movie was rated 18 by LPF. However, a recent update on LPF’s website today shows that the movie’s rating has been revised to P13. It’s well-known that Rajini has a substantial fan-following in the country and major portions of Kabali are also based in Malaysia.

Kabali Rating Revised From To P13

The new rating now allows moviegoers under the age of 18 to watch the movie in local cinemas. This would improve the viewership for the film for its Malay version. There is a lot of craze for the superstar in Malaysia as well. So, the Malaysia version is expected to do well. The latest rating may help to improve the film’s finances abroad.
