Story:

The story was written by Vijayendra Prasad. Jaguar movie story is in the backdrop of medical colleges and hospitals owned by business tycoons Shauri Prasad and Somshekar, played by actors Sampath Kumar and Aditya MenonKrishna (Nikhil) is a simple medical college student who is behind some crazy murders of high profile people in the medical business. He targets four rich business men and starts killing them by wearing a disguise called Jaguar.

The police appoint a CBI officer (Jagapathi Babu) to nab Krishna but the entire department fails in doing so each and every time. Why is Krishna doing all these murders? What is his motto? and What does the disguise Jaguar have to do with the entire set up? That forms the rest of the story.

Alajadi Analysis:

Jaguar is one film which created a huge buzz for various reasons. Coming to the director Mahadev, he has done an okay job with the film. He showcases the various murders and college scenes well in the first half and sets up a good second half. The basic story line of Jaguar movie is nothing new, and does not have many interesting factors. Once the twist is revealed, the film gets predictable right until the end. But Vijayendra Prasad penned a story with few engaging elements and by adding few twists.

Actors Performance:

Nikhil Gowda : He makes an okay debut. Even though he looks naive for his first film, he is well trained and has done wonderfully well with his dances and fights.

Deepthi Sati: Her appears in an out and out glamorous role and does what is required of her perfectly. Her glamour, especially in the songs, will surely enthrall the audience completely.

Rest of the cast have done enough justice to their roles. Sumalatha as Hero’s mother is decent. Brahmanandam is as usual hilarious and tried to create few laughs. Jagapathi Babu is yet another major highlight of the film. His scenes with Nikhil have come out extremely well. Once again, Ramya Krishna does a splendid job as always. She is supreme in her role, as her role once again marked Nilambari role and took the movie to the next level.

Technical Team Performance:

The film has some awesome visuals. Special mention should go to the fight composers who have canned some sleek chase sequences. Camera work is pretty good as the entire film has the feel of a top hero film. Thaman’s music is just average but his background score is quite impressive.

Plus Points:

  • Production values
  • Vijendra Prasad Plot
  • Tamanna’s item song
  • Few twists

Minus points:

  • Rao Ramesh routine character
  • Songs
  • Routine Story
  • Second half
